Counselling

Animal Assisted Therapy on the farm for kids, teens, and young adults! Located in South Langley on a five acre property. We are able to spend time with horses, sheep, cows, chickens, dogs, bunnies, or cats while talking about what brought you to counselling.

I use a client-centred, experiential, trauma-informed approach. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Montana State University before heading to Trinity Western University to complete my Masters in Counselling Psychology.

I have extensive experience working with children and youth since 2011 including teaching equestrian workshops, in-home Behaviour Intervention and Highschool Guidance Counselling (Masters Internship). While completing an internship at Brightwood Ranch I practiced Equine Assisted Counselling for children and youth with attachment disruption (children from foster homes, group homes, and low income homes).

My diverse skill-set allows me to offer customized services for clients with a variety of needs. I offer therapy for anxiety, depression, emotion/mood regulation, trauma, grief, loss, attachment issues, communication/social skills, and low self-esteem. I feel compassion is at the center of my practice and I believe in an honest style of feedback to empower my clients to have the courage to speak freely. I value creating a safe space for people to build confidence and have fun as they explore the physical, psychological, and emotional elements of reaching their goals.
